Business includes the SSO Portal. Deploy the customer-managed Access Gateway and Portal, connect an AD, LDAP or RADIUS identity source, and integrate each SAML 2.0 application. The cloud MFA service remains required. This does not establish OIDC application coverage, Entra workforce federation or SCIM provisioning.

The gateway checks the primary identity source, contacts the Rublon API and challenges the user with the configured second factor. Business includes these methods; SMS and phone usage costs extra. Authentication methods vary by connector, so this SAML scope does not promise the same behavior for RDP or VPN.

Use the gateway FIDO method with supported WebAuthn browsers and enrolled FIDO2 passkeys or security keys. Enforce the intended method and review enrollment, recovery and fallback rules. SMS, email and YubiKey OTP are separate methods, not equivalent phishing-resistant factors. Local gateway installation does not make the cloud control plane self-hosted.
